Developing, implementing, and programming ideas at lightning speed and creating new stimuli for future rail traffic:
that's HackTrain Hackathon.
80 developers, designers, and company founders from around the globe are invited to rock
the transport industry with their visions and abilities. They only have a few hours to develop
Apps, software and websites as solutions with which to tackle the
challenges of rail traffic and to pitch them back to the industry.
18 September: Presentation and introduction of the teams during the Launch Event from
05.00 - 10.00 p.m. in the Business Lounge Marshall-Haus.
19 September: Watch participants at work and support them from 01.00 - 06.00 p.m.
during spectators' time (CityCube, level 3, room M 4+5)
20 September: Semi-Final Pitches, 03.00 - 06.00 p.m. (CityCube, level 3, room M 4+5)
20 teams who will each have four minutes time to present their solution plus an additional two
minutes for questions from the panel.
Three teams will qualify for the Final.
21 September: Wild Card Pitches starting from 10.00 a.m. (CityCube, level 3, room M 4+5)
Three teams who did not pass the Semi-Final have the opportunity to pitch their ideas again and potentially qualify for the Final.
21 September: Grand Final, 02.00 - 04.00 p.m. (Career Forum Hall 7.1c):
