The homemade pasta is the best, another planet.
The Best pasta in supermarkets is the "De Cecco" in my opinion. Very good also the "Voiello"
:)-D

Ok, I agree: homemade is best.(tu)
But I guess one should use a special pasta flour/farina which they don't sell in common supermarkets here in Germany.

Sometimes, I prepare a german type of Gnocchi, called "Schupfnudeln". First gently boiled in salted water, then fried in e.g. butter or even olive oil. Makes a very tasty dish with vegetables or Sauerkraut!:)

"De Cecco" I have heard of. "Voiello" is totally unknown to me.
Most common here in northern Germany is "Barilla" and "Buitoni".
Recently when analyzing pasta made by Barilla, they found PCB which had diffused into the pasta from the boxes made of recycling paper.:(

Buon appetito!
