Łódź er befolkningsmessig Polens tredje største by og hovedstaden i Łódź voivodskap i sentrum av landet. Byen er hovedsenteret for tekstil- og filmindustrien samt elektronikk- og underholdningsbransjen i Polen. Grunnlagt før år 1332 og ca.700 000 innbygger i sentrum. Høyde over havet 278 m. Mye interessant å se fra tiden da Tekstil industrien var stor her, spesielt Manufaktura. Kan anbefale dere
